Own words, own criteria
Guides are written in our own words and structure, from multiple sources plus the provider's own pricing and terms page. We do not copy vendor copy, rival guides, or video scripts, and we do not name, link, or embed YouTube creators as sources in published guides.
Free means labelled
Truly free, Freemium, Free trial only, Free for personal use only, or Open source — stated plainly, with the limit beside the claim. A trial is never headlined as free.
Dated, then re-checked
AI credit tiers are re-checked every 3 months and immediately on a reported change; SaaS freemium every 6 months; open-source and desktop tools every 12 months. If a fact cannot be re-verified, the guide is narrowed or removed — never left stale as if true.
Corrections
When a plan changes, the guide and the changelog are updated with a new checked date. A guide that is unverified for 14 days is narrowed, and removed after a further cycle if it still cannot be verified.
No affiliate links are published until the programme terms are verified. No income, traffic, or ranking is promised anywhere on this site.
